ICASC is a non‑profit organization dedicated to making the community a great place to live, visit, work, and play through sports. Their work focuses on attracting, creating, and managing sporting events across the Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty areas.
To support this mission, a new site architecture was developed to better organize events, services, and news. The redesign also aimed to capture the energy and excitement that define ICASC’s events and community engagement. This meant moving beyond a simple informational site and creating an experience that feels dynamic, welcoming, and in motion.
Upon arriving on the homepage, users are met with an action‑driven video that immediately sets the tone. Angled photography and active design elements flow throughout the site, guiding visitors toward engaging content and showcasing the vibrancy of local sports.
Together, these choices reinforce the core idea of active design—a visual and structural approach that mirrors the movement, momentum, and community spirit at the heart of ICASC’s mission.
