Author Melinda Pradarelli approached Kevin Mellen to develop a book design about Von Maur’s history of being one of the country’s last independently owned department stores. It features a genealogy of the original owners and the von Maur family, how they used marketing tactics in its early history, and a timeline of its history to the present day.
