Art as Paper and Wood

The company name says it all. Local artist Robert Slotterback creates artwork in the medium of only paper and wood. He came to Creative Mellen in need of a fresh and modern identity that represents his unique style. We were inspired by some of his small furniture pieces and unique approach to how he constructed them. Focusing on the unique corner construction of some of these pieces helped create the symbolism of the letter “A” to represent “Art” with a paper icon backdrop. We then created a custom designed website that highlighted the detail of his artwork utilizing Shopify’s simple e-commerce platform.
